Being somewhere calm, spacious and serene is a must in the hours before your wedding, as nerves start to build and you need your bridesmaids around you to help with those final touches.
And to be able to have your dog with you too is extra special, and as Simon and Tierney's dog was part of their bridal party, they chose Wiggley for their pre-wedding preparation accommodation.
For Tierney to know her groom and his groomsmen were nearby, but unseen, in a separate building yet on the same property, was perfect.
Booking the whole property at Wiggley Bottom Farm for pre-wedding preparations is ideal, because you have the space you need to be separate, yet the proximity you need when you want to be 'together'.
It worked beautifully for Simon and Tierney.
They hired the whole property and the girls all got ready in the apartment and the house while the boys had the cottage. And when they were ready for a bottle of celebratory bubbles, a pre-wedding tipple, they sat out on the gorgeous deck and shared a special moment with that wonderful view as their backdrop.
And having friendly miniature goats on the farmstay property is a bonus for small bridesmaids who can go off and explore and meet the animals, while the grown ups do their thing.
As the bridal party said in their glowing 5 star Tripadvisor review recently, being on the same property 'made everything easier for the photographers, florists etc and there is a photo opportunity everywhere you look...you can see the effort Gillie puts in to ensure not only the accommodation is immaculate , the lawns and gardens are stunning too.'
Their gorgeous wedding went off without a hitch (excuse the pun) at the lovely Maddens Rise
and their party afterwards was at Yarra Valley Estate, so they continued their wedding full of authentic country charm throughout their celebration. Just beautiful.
